Carnival Jubilee is the newest Excel-class ship in the fleet, sailing from Galveston, Texas. Adults also have their own space at the Serenity Adult-Only Retreat with swaying hammocks and a bar. Guests shelling out for this suite will have little use for hacks. Launched in 1996 as Carnival Destiny, the ship received an overhaul and a new name in 2013. The pacing of our meal was perfect, and we didn't feel rushed through the courses. The cost is $24 (per person) for adults and $6 (per person) for kids aged 11 and under — a great price for a fantastic meal. My husband ordered the "Straight Up" burger with all the fixings, and it was almost on par with others he's eaten on previous cruises. There were two shelves on both sides of the mirror for toiletry storage and a decent amount of counter space for such a small area. I've enjoyed Latin-themed performances ("Amor Cubano"), British music tributes ("The Brits") and an art-infused journey through music and dance ("Color My World").
