Night Western Caribbean Cruises

Another interesting feature is that their hulls have a special non-toxic covering that minimizes friction and saves fuel. Oasis of the Seas itinerary program is based on 7-day Western and Eastern Caribbean cruises Fort Lauderdale FL. Feature port destinations include Cozumel Mexico, Nassau Bahamas, St Thomas USVI, St Maarten, Jamaica, Labadee (Royal Caribbean's Haiti private island resort).

Overview of the Oasis of the Seas

The Vue has taken the space of one of the cantilevered hot tubs onboard, so instead of two like on other Oasis Class ships, there is only one. Something you should know about these ships is that they are not all alike. With each ship, Royal Caribbean has differentiated each one with different entertainment, restaurants, pool deck activities and more. Just because you've sailed one, doesn't mean you've sailed them all. Bionic Bar replaced Champagne Bar (deck 5 midship-starboard).

Solarium

The interior, ocean view, and balcony rooms are basically the same, with varying levels of exposure to the outside (nothing, window, or balcony). There are four categories of rooms on the Oasis of the Seas – interior, ocean view, balcony, and suite. To secure your preferred dining times and venues, make reservations before your cruise using Royal Caribbean’s online booking system. This ensures you won’t miss out on the best culinary experiences.

The biggest difference on Wonder of the Seas is the addition of the Suite Neighborhood. The Suite Neighborhood is the eighth neighborhood onboard and is accessible only for suite guests. Oasis Class ships have not only one, but two rock climbing walls.

The Oasis of the Seas Deck Plan Is Easy and Comfortable

This is the World’s Biggest Weekend — arriving in summer 2024 to Port Canaveral. Benefits of the Royal Suite Class include private suite sun deck access, meals at the suites-only restaurant Coastal Kitchen, a suite concierge, Suite Lounge access, and priority boarding, among others. Although they do not have a window, interior staterooms on Oasis of the Seas are a cozy place to relax and unwind after a busy day onboard.

Oasis of the Seas Bars & Lounges

Childcare is available for kids aged 6 months to 17 years, and kids are broken into separate rooms by age group. The FlowRider is a surfing simulator where guests can practice boogie boarding and stand up surfing as water rushes from the front to the back of the FlowRider. Royal Caribbean isn't done adding new Oasis Class ships, Utopia of the Seas will be the sixth class and the company has hinted they haven't ruled out adding more. The Beach Pool is saltwater, and the other pools are fresh water filtered pools. There are four primary pools on Oasis of the Seas, along with a series of whirlpools, and Splashaway Bay aqua park.

Following drydock 2019, Oasis OTS now has an enlarged (sized ~7000 ft2 / ~650 m2) and enhanced (fully refurbished and upgraded) retail complex with a total of 8 shopping areas (on 3 decks). At the upgraded retail zones are sold premium-brand watches and jewellery (including a separate John Hardy Boutique), fashion clothing, beauty products, perfumes, cosmetics, RCI brand merchandise. Among the represented retail brands are Gucci, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Bulgari, John Hardy, Debbie Katz, Tagua, Marcela Cofre, Hennessy, Hublot, Breitling+Longines, TAG Heuer. Central Park is an outdoor relaxation zone (within the ship's interior) with 20000+ live plants. Signage boards provide detailed info on all Central Park's trees and plants. The Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness Center may not feel like it deserves its own ranking as a neighborhood on these ships, but that’s only what you’ll think at first glance.

We won’t ruin the surprise for you about what’s inside, but it’s definitely worth checking out. Kids especially will love trying to find them all over the ship. While there are some people who aren’t fans of the size of the Oasis-class ships, our view is the complete opposite. In short, the ship offers anything you could want on a cruise — all delivered in a massive package. As for bars, there are plenty all over the ship, so it’s never too far from a drink. Two that will definitely catch your eye are Bionic Bar and Rising Tide.

New dining and bar venues, a revamped pool deck, updated kids programming, and new activities were just some of the changes made to the ship. Due to the amplification, Oasis of the Seas feels new and refreshed despite being almost 14 years old. Many guests book a cruise on an Oasis Class ship due to the sheer range of options available. With the amount of entertainment, organized activities, and dining venues onboard, there is little chance guests will ever get bored on an Oasis Class ship. The Vue offers panoramic views of the ocean and a colorful, mosaic canopy overhead that lights up at night.

On every cruise ship space is a limiting factor as to what you can put onboard. But with a ship the size of Oasis of the Seas, you can have more of everything. That includes more spots for entertainment, more restaurants, more pools, and more things to do.

Rally your special someone and get down all day and all night at over a dozen of our best bars, plus some bold new contenders. Turn up the Caribbean cool with couples’ cocktails poolside at the Lime and Coconut®, or grab a beer at Playmakers℠ Sports Bar & Arcade. Rock out on the dance floor to the best cover bands in the biz at Music Hall. And end the evening on a high note with a duet at the new Spotlight℠ Karaoke. Relax, unwind and make yourself at home after a full day of adventure.

And although you can visit a variety of destinations on Oasis of the Seas–from the Bahamas to Europe–the ship is a destination within itself. The ship is one of the largest ships in the world, with plenty of space to offer things to do onboard for guests of all ages. Water slides, specialty dining, an escape room, pools, ice skating, a Broadway show and more await you on this ship. But, Icon of the Seas is still under construction, so it’s a long time coming. If you want to sail on one of the largest cruise ships in the world for now (and at least for the next few years), you want to go with an Oasis class cruise.

The ship is full of fun things to do, great dining, great entertainment, and you cannot go wrong with the Royal Caribbean standard of service. One of my favorite aspects of the Oasis of the Seas is the quality of entertainment on board. Each night, there is a headline performer in the Royal Theater. This is standard on all Royal Caribbean ships and the acts range from musicians to magicians to dancers. When trying to choose a cruise itinerary, the decision often comes down to the quality of the ship.
